Welcome to my website. I want to inform you transparently about how, when and why I collect your personal data while you browse, and how I take care of it, in full compliance with applicable law.

2. What data do I collect, and why?

My website is designed to be essential and minimal, to guarantee you the greatest possible privacy. I only collect the data you choose to send me, for the following purposes:

  • Appointment requests via the form: if you choose to write to me to arrange a meeting, I ask you to enter your first and last name, email address, optionally your phone number, and a message. I use this information solely to get back to you and handle your request.
  • Direct contact by phone or WhatsApp: if you choose to call me or send me a WhatsApp message by clicking the links on the site, I will process your phone number and the information you share solely to provide you with the assistance or information requested.

Legal basis for processing: the legal basis that allows me to process this data is the performance of pre-contractual or contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). In simple terms: I process the data because you are the one asking me for a service or contact.

3. How is your data stored, and for how long?

Your data is processed using secure IT tools suited to prevent loss, unlawful use, or unauthorized access. I do not keep your data forever: it will remain in my records only for as long as strictly necessary to handle your request, unless a subsequent professional relationship is established, or the law requires a longer retention period.

4. Who is your data shared with?

Your personal data is personal, and remains so. It is never sold, exchanged, or shared with third parties for commercial or marketing purposes. Only the technical providers that make the website work, formally appointed as Data Processors, or the competent authorities in the cases provided for by law, may access it. In particular, I rely on:

  • Vercel Inc., which hosts the site and enables its online publication.
  • Web3Forms, which manages the forwarding of messages sent through the contact form and delivers them to my inbox. The service processes the form data (name, email, message) for the sole purpose of delivering it to me.

5. Your rights

The GDPR grants you full control over your information. At any time you can write to me at barbara.counseling.incammino@gmail.com to exercise the following rights:

  • Find out whether I hold data about you and request a copy (Access).
  • Request correction of inaccurate data or completion of incomplete data (Rectification).
  • Request deletion of your data from my records (Erasure).
  • Request restriction of processing, or object to it.

Extended Cookie Notice

As a matter of ethics and transparency, this website adopts a minimal-tracking policy:

  • Exclusive use of technical cookies: only the cookies strictly necessary for smooth and secure browsing are used.
  • No tracking or profiling: I do not use profiling cookies to send you advertising, nor third-party statistical tracking systems (such as Google Analytics).
  • External links (WhatsApp and phone): the buttons or links on the site to start a call or open WhatsApp are simple hyperlinks (direct links). This means that, unless you actively choose to click on them, the site does not install any third-party cookies on your device.

Legal note on the banner: since this site does not use advertising, tracking, or third-party cookies, under the Guidelines of the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante Privacy) it is not required to display the usual consent banner when entering the site.
